Well, it’s nearly Christmas and of course the kids already have their lists all drawn up.

Back in my day we were happy with an orange and a bag of nuts. But oh how times change. This year’s Christmas lists have been taking shape since late October and are starting to settle. Not long now until they’ll be posting them off to the North Pole.

The big thing the kids want this year is a Go Go Hamster. These are cute little mechanical toys. They’re the size of real hamsters but with none of the drawbacks. You don’t have to feed them. You don’t have to take them to the vets. They don’t die. You can shove them in the bottom of a draw without feeling guilty. All in all, they’re a great way for kids to have a hamster without having to take on any responsibility for them at all.

So that’s them sorted. I’m happy to get that out of the way so easily. If only David were so easy to buy for. I think I’ll probably end up doing what I do every year. Get him something he doesn’t want but which I decide he needs. This year, it’ll be a nice shirt. That’s nothing to sneeze at. H

Christmas organisation is an absolute must. I don’t want to leave any stone unturned. Don’t let this get in your way: toys are fantastic. But who gets what? I address this problem by keeping a list of games at all times. I need to take it and run with it. I’ve been looking for a custom designed toys. This is hard and few my regular readers already know this. Everyone will tell you about Christmas. Knock yourself out. Maybe we’re putting the cart before the horse. I encourage you to check out some of this year’s toys.

What you do with Christmas is your own decision. It’s a nice compliment when a person thinks enough of you to get you a present. I can’t imagine what that would be like. I think people get too caught up in the whole Scrooge thing. Why would they blind themselves to the truth? Anyhow, that’s where I am at right now.
